Arrival by Car
Coming from Berlin:
1. Possibility
Via the motorways A 24 and A 19 in the direction of Rostock on the cross Rostock on the A 20 change towards Stralsund until the exit Stralsund. Follow the signs for the island of Rügen on the B 96.
2. Possibility
Via the A 11 in the direction of Szczecin until the Triangle Uckermark then go to the A 20 in the direction of Neubrandenburg/Stralsund until Exit 24 Stralsund. Bundesstraße 96 to Stralsund follow the signs to the island of Rügen.
Coming from Hamburg/Lübeck:
Take the Autobahn A 20 towards Rostock and continue until the exit of Stralsund. Take the extrance and change to the B96. Follow the signs for the island of Rügen on the B 96 in the direction of Stralsund.
Coming from Stralsund:
In Stralsund, the B 96 leads to the island via the new Rügenbrücke. Follow the B 96 in the direction of Bergen and after approx. 20 km change on the b 196 (right in front of Bergen) direction Sellin/Göhren. After passing the village of Bergen you reach the junction Karow after 5 km (please do not turn left in direction of Binz but continue straight on towards the Ostseebad Göhren). In the village of Serams turn left towards Binz. You follow the avenue street and pass the hunting castle Granitz on the right side. After crossing the railway crossing,follow the street “Bahnhofstraße”. The street will turn into “Jasmunder Straße”. In the roundabout leave at the first extrance into “Dollahnerstraße”. Turn right into “Hans-Beiler-Straße” and turn left at the end of the street into “Dünenstraße”. Follow the street until you can see the shop “Edeka” on your left side. Than turn right and directly right again into “Proraer Straße”. After approx. 100 m you can see the Rugard Strandhotel on the left.

You can reach our hotel easily when you follow the blue traffic guideline in Binz. If you have a navigation system in your car, please enter “Proraer Straße”.
