Take the A 20 freeway in the direction of Rostock, continue to the Stralsund exit. Follow the B 96 in the direction of Stralsund and follow the signs to the island of Rügen.
Recommended route Stralsund – Ostseebad Binz:
In Stralsund, the B 96 leads over the new Rügen Bridge to the island. Follow the B 96 in the direction of Bergen and after approx. 20 km turn onto the B 196 (right before Bergen) in the direction of Sellin/Göhren. After passing the village of Bergen, you will reach the Karow turn-off after 5 km. Follow the road to Prora and turn right at the end junction in the direction of Binz. Follow the road until the left turn onto Prorae Allee. At the end of the road turn right onto Dollahner Straße. Follow this street until the left turn onto Dünenstraße. After 400 meters turn left into Proraer Straße and follow it until you reach the Rugard Thermal Strandhotel to your left.

Take a Deutsche Bahn long-distance train directly to Binz without changing trains from Berlin, Hamburg, Hanover, Cologne, Frankfurt (M) and Munich.
There are good ICE and Intercity connections from all over Germany to Binz, often without changing trains.
If you wish, we will be happy to pick you up at the train station in Binz for free and bring you back there on time when you leave. Please let us know your arrival and departure time in time.
